Our Fundraising Shop forms the core of the Newmarket Nexus mission: to be a support system for the community and to encourage environmental sustainability. The charity shop is found in Newmarket, Suffolk and is always bustling, with donated items finding their use once again.
Help minimise waste by donating and purchasing products from our shop, and contribute towards recycling to reduce waste and repurpose things whcih are perfectly useable – just unwanted.
Each donated item keeps waste out of landfills and helps raise much-needed funds for our community projects.
Among the big beneficiaries of our funds is our youth hub. The Newmarket Youth Hub is an empowering and secure space where young people can grow and learn to hang out. The money from the charity shop funds most of our other programs, activities, and resources that would support young people to stay out of the streets and be engaged positively in the community.
The fundraising shop is critical in actualising a genuinely sustainable and supportive community.
